Clive Larby contacted the web-site in August last year with news of his restoration of a 1929 Model 2 350cc side-valve machine (see workshop section). As planned, with the assistance of Harold Beal, he took part in the Sunbeam MCC's 'Garden of England Run' in Kent on 12th July - with excellent results! He up-dated the web site with the following news.

Hi,

Attached are 2 photos of my 1929 model 2 that you may like to use on your web site.

I completed my first sunbeam Garden of England run and was awarded runner up best vintage bike.

And last Sunday best pre 1946 bike at Rye motorcycle show at Ham Street. 

Harold and I were pleased our efforts were rewarded by our peers.
